Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This recipe came from a Christmas tree farm that we as kids went to every year. After we chose our perfect tree we would go into the little cabin on the property and there would be free candy canes and sugar cookies. The sugar cookies were amazing and one year we asked for the recipe.

I haven't made this recipe for years because I had lost it. But, when Christmas comes around this year you can bet I will be making some for the family.
