3/4 cup cocoa
2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Sift above together
2 eggs
½ cup shortening
1¼ cup sugar
1 cup sour milk or buttermilk
1/2 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla

When adding dry ingredients do not beat too much., Tends to make cake too dry,

Bake 350º for 20 to 30 minutes.
