2 sticks softened butter

1 c brown sugar

1 c white sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

2 cup flour

1 tsp soda

pinch of salt

3 cups oatmeal (quick or old fashioned)

Directions:
Directions:
mix ingredients together. shape into 2 loaves on wax paper and roll them up tightly so they won't dry out.

refrigerate overnight.

slice thin and bake on lightly greased cookie sheet for 5 - 8 minutes at 350º.

can slice desired cookie amount daily for several days for fresh baked cookies.

serve with lots of coffee!
