5 c. flour
¼ c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1½ tsp. salt
1 package dry yeast
2 tbsp. warm water
2½ c. buttermilk
½ c. vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450°F.

Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl. Combine yeast mixture, buttermilk, and oil. Mix in dry ingredients until smooth. Place dough onto a floured board.

Roll dough to 1” thickness. Cut dough into desired size. Place close together on well-greased pan. Brush top with melted butter or oil. Bake until biscuits start to brown (approximately 15 minutes).

Makes up to 3 dozen biscuits. Dough can be refrigerated for up to three days and used as needed.
