Ingredients:  
3/4 cups butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp light corn syrup
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup course sugar or sanding sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in egg, corn syrup and lemon extract.
Stir in flour baking soda and baking powder.
Cover and chill at least 1 hour.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls.
Roll balls ion sugar and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
Bake 12 minutes until lightly browned.
