2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. thick sour cream
½ tsp. soda
4 tsp. baking powder
4½ c. flour, sifted
¼ tsp. salt
1 c. nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add 1 egg at a time and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with sour cream to creamed mixture. Add vanilla. Can add nuts and raisins if desired. Drop by teaspoonful’s on greased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375º. Cool on wax paper and ice with cream cheese frosting or leave plain.
