1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 cup Crisco (1 stick)
2 eggs
1 ½ cup dark brown sugar, packed
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups flour
Chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 350 degrees: lightly grease cookie sheet
Combine butter, Crisco, sugar, and eggs; cream until fluffy.
Add vanilla blend well.
Add baking soda, salt, and flour; blend well.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Bake 350 degrees, on a lightly greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool on rack.

Hints:
She always cooked them at 375 degrees. I bake them at 350 for 8-9 minutes.
She made them a drink coaster size. I prefer them a golf ball size.
