1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp each cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup apple sauce
1 egg well beaten
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, salt, spices. Cream butter and sugar, stir soda into apple sauce add egg and combine with creamed mixture. Gradually mix in dry ingredients, stir in nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet 2-3 inches apart. Bake at 375ºF for 15 min.
