1¼ c. butter softened
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
¾ c. cocoa
½ tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar in large mixing bowl.
Add eggs & vanilla. Blend well.
Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda, & salt. Gradually blend into creamed mixture.
Stir in nuts.
Drop by tsp. onto ungreased cookie sheet.
DO NOT OVER BAKE.
Cookies will be soft & will puff during baking & flatten upon cooling.
Cool on cookie sheet until set -- about 1 minute, then cool on wire rack
