1c butter
1c granulated sugar (for caramel)
3/4c of sugar w/molasses
1/4c (heaping) brown sugar
1/2c sugar for cookie dough
2eggs
1tsp vanilla
2-1/2c flour
3/4tsp baking powder
3/4tsp baking soda
1tsp salt
1/2bag of chocolate chipa

Directions:
Directions:
Brown butter (melt and cook -while stirring- until browned at medium heat) and dump into metal mixing bowl

Cook the 1 cup of sugar in a pan @ medium heat (stirring every so often) until smooth, amber-colored, and slightly smoking Pour onto cookie sheet (with sides) covered in aluminum foil. Let cool until hardened.

Heat oven to 350°F

Mix browned butter, sugar (w molasses and 1/2c of regular sugar), brown sugar on medium. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract. Beat on high until light and thick.

Mix in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.

Chop up the hardened caramel into small pieces and add to dough with the chocolate chips.

To make the cookies, put wax paper on the cookie sheets and spray well. Roll the dough into small balls and press down. These cookies will spread. Bake for 11-12 mins.

Once baked, sprinkle some salt on the top of the cookies.
