2# B. Sugar
1qt. yellow label molasses (I always try to get Black Brier Rabbit brand)
1pt. sour cream
21 cups (approximately) of flour (if it is still sticky put more flour in)
1 qt. chopped hickory nuts
1 T. soda
1 T. salt
1 T. cinnamon
1 T. nutmeg


Directions:

Mix all together and form into rolls and Chill. Slice and bake at 350 degrees until brown. Work the rolls until they are not sticky.

This recipe has been in the family since before my Great Grandmother. It makes a ton of cookies. You can easily cut it in half, thirds or quarter it. The cookies are hard and will last for months. They are perfect with coffee or milk. They are a personal favorite.
