1 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 tea salt

2 eggs
1 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a bowl combine flour, baking powder and salt.

In a small bowl, beat eggs on high about 4 minutes until thick. On medium speed, slowly add sugar until incorporated, about 4 minutes, scraping sides and bottom of bowl occasionally.

While eggs mix, in a sauce pan, heat milk and butter or margarine until melted (do not let it boil). When sugar has been incorporated fully into eggs, add the hot milk into the batter and mix well (another minute).

Put in prepared* cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 20 -25 minutes. Check center of cake with a tooth pick at 20 minutes If it comes out clean, the cake is done. If not, give it a few more minutes.

Make the fudge icing with this. Use my homemade recipe. Betty used canned but my kids prefered the fudge icing when I started making it.
