3½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 c. butter or marg.
1½ c. sugar
2 egg yolks
½ cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
Directions:

Cream butter, add sugar, egg yolks, sour cream & vanilla
Gradually add flour to mixture
1 tsp cookie
Flatten with fork
Bake 350º for 12 mins or until browned

Note from Lisa- I am pretty sure these are the cookies Grandma Sylvia used to send to Mike Abrams when he was in college. I would watch her make these on the side of the counter and she would package in a cookie tin. (Recipe in Sylvia Melman's handwriting)
