"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg yolks and mix well. Add the all-purpose flour and chopped nuts and mix well. Divide the dough in ½. Wrap in plastic wrap and put in the freezer. With slightly dampened hands, pat the remaining dough into the jelly roll pan until even. Spread almond paste over the dough within ¼ inch of the edges. Top with filling and spread in the same way. Remove the remaining dough from the freeze and grate over the strawberry filling. Grate evenly over the entire surface of the filling. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until golden brown. Cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Cut while still in the pan and warm. Cool completely in the pan, dust with confectionery sugar.
