½ c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2½ c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt
icing sugar
colored sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening and sugar, add vanilla.
2. Add eggs and beat well.
3. Add sifted dry ingredients and mix well.
4. Chill dough.
5. Roll thin and cut into shapes
6. Bake at 400ºF for 10 minutes.
7. Cool and decorate.
