½ c. butter
½ c. shortening
½ c. icing sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. uncooked quick rolled oats
2 c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 pk. chocolate chips
¼ c. milk
Chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
1. Blend butter, shortening, sugar, vanilla until creamy.
2. Fold in the oats, flour, salt.
3. Shape into crescents.
4. Place 1'' apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
5. Bake at 325ºF for 25-30 minutes.
6. When cooled, melt the chocolate. Dip ends in the melted chocolate and then in the nuts.
