2/3 C. Sugar
3 Egg Yolks
1 tsp. Vanilla

Directions:
Let butter come to room temperature. Mix butter, sugar, yokes and vanilla. Work in the flour. You may need to chill this a while to be the right consistancy for the cookie press.

Sprinkle cookies with decorator sugar or sprinkles before baking. If the cookie design is right you can even put a little jam (not jelly) in the middle.

Bake at 400º for 7 - 10 minutes until cookie is set but has not browned.

Press cookies have always been one of Dad's favorite. I don't know why we only make them at Christmas. They are good any time of year.
