3 c. Sugar
4 tbsp. Flour
2 sticks Butter
4 tbsp. White Vinegar
2 tbsp. Vanilla
6 Eggs
2 Frozen Pie Shells

Directions:
Directions:
Take out pie shells and place on large cookie sheet to thaw. Pre-heat oven to 350º. Mix sugar and flour together in a small bowl and set aside. Melt butter then mix with vinegar and vanilla. Slowly add in sugar- flour mixture then mix well. Pour in unbaked pie shells. Cook for 40-45 mins. or until done. It should be slightly browned and will set firmer as it cools.

Nanny Cagle used to work in the cafeteria’s at WCU in the mid 1980’s. She was in charge of cakes, pies and cobblers. The original recipe was for making 6 pies at once!
