Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup butter flavor crisco
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon almond extract (or more as you like)
2 cups flour
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds (I use up to 2 cups)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º
Refrigerate baking sheets

Combine Crisco and sugar in large bowl and beat until well blended.
Add in egg, milk and almond extract.

Combine flour, nuts, salt and baking powder in bowl. Add gradually to creamed mixture until well blended.

Using cookie press/gun form cookies on to cold cookie sheets.

Add sprinkles or colored sugar.

Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are just light brown.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I love almonds so I add extra ground up almonds but remember it will make them a little dryer.
Also if the almonds aren't ground fine enough (but not a paste) they will get stuck in the cookie mold.
