1 cup Crisco
Dash of Salt
1 tsp vanilla
¼ tsp baking soda
2 cups sugar
1 egg
5 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk

Filling:
1 lb raisins
¾ cup sugar
Water to cover about 2-3 inches over raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together until able to roll out. Use more or less flour as needed. Roll not too thick, not too thin. Cut out with a coffee cup. Put on a cookie sheet. Put raisin fill-in on and then put top cookie on. Press lightly around cookie. Bake at 400º until light brown.
Filling: Cook about 10 minutes then add corn starch to thicken. Let cool before placing in cookies.
