2 c sugar
1 c butter or shortening
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c sour milk
5 c flour (may need 1/2c more)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Directions:
Directions:
Beat first 5 ingredients together and then add dry ingredients;
alternating with sour milk.

If mixture is sticky add more flour till dry.

Roll out and cut out your favorites.

Heat oven to 375*. Put on parchment lined cookie sheet and bake till lightly browned.
