½ cup mashed ripe banana (about 1 medium one)
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup softened butter
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
¼ cup all purpose flour
2 cups old fashioned oats
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st 5 ingredients in large bowl-beat with mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add egg; beat well. Lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups. Combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in medium bowl-stirring with whisk. Add flour mixture to banana mixture-beat with mixer on medium. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on baking sheets. Bake at 350ºF for 18 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes.
