1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. peanut butter
2 c. flour
1 t. salt
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening, sugars, and vanilla. Add eggs and beat thoroughly. Stir in peanut butter. Mix together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Stir in coconut and nuts. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie sheets. Press with back of floured fork to make a criss-cross design.

Bake at 350º for 10 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from pan and cool on racks.
