1/2 Cup Honey
2 TBLS. Milk

Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Ad egg, honey and milk, continue creaming.
Wash and soak raisins in hot water, and drain well.
Combine with oatmeal and add to mixture.
Measure flour and then sift together with dry ingredients and add to mixture. Mix until well blended.

Dip #16 scoop onto lightly greased cookie sheet, 3 inches apart. With a water glass dipped in water, flatten cookies slightly.

Bake at 300º for 10 to 15 minutes. Be careful to not over bake. Cookies will be a delicate brown when done and will look like a saucer.

Cool just enough to set cookies. Loose with spatula or just twist.

Makes about 12 saucers. #16 equals 1/4 cup.
