1 ¾ cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup softened butter
½ cup granulated sugar
1 ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
2 ½ cups quick or old fashioned oats
2 cups nestle toll house semi sweet chocolate chip morsels
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts

Directions:

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter in mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs, milk, and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, morsels, and nuts. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375º F for 9-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12-13 minutes for crispy cookies. Let stand 1 minute.
