1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 c. coconut

Variations and optional additions:
chocolate chips
heath bar pieces
dried cranberries, cherries or raisins

Preheat oven to 375º. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. In separate bowl, mix together all dry ingredients, then add to sugar-egg mixture and mix well. Roll into balls and flatten on cookie sheet. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 9 -11 min.
