Notes: We often went to lawn bowling tournaments as a family. Each all day tournament involved a lunch break. Grandpa Jackson always brought a canned ham - the kind that came in a tin and had a key attached that was required to open it. (The key frequently broke before the can was opened!!) Grandma Mabel always brought this cake for dessert. Grandma Jean made the salads to complete the menu. There was always lots of food and frequently other bowling friends joined us for lunch. Good times!
