⅔ cup shortening
1 ½ cups sugar
2 eggs
⅔ cups sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
½ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp baking soda
2 cups mini chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 370º

1. Cream shortening and sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy - about 3 minutes.
2. Beat in eggs, sour cream, and vanilla.
3. Mix in baking soda, salt and slowly add in cocao powder. Add flour and mix.
4. Stir in chocolate chips.
5. Put dough on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with Pam Spray, or lined with Parchment Paper.
6. Bake 10 minutes, then let cookies cool on sheet.

You can make this dough and freeze for another time to bake. Just freeze teaspoonfuls of the dough on a baking sheet until solid. Then transfer to a plastic bag and store in freezer.
