1/3 cup Crisco shortening
1/3 cup butter
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder

Mix all of the above together and add 1/3 cup boiling water. Mix with your hands until dough feels not sticky, you might need to add a little more water. Make 2 balls with the dough and roll out on wax paper and then put into pie dish.

This is a tricky recipe, you just have to play with it until you can get the right consistency. Grama was 91 and i still had her make the dough.
