Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups butter
2 cups white sugar
8 eggs (add one at a time, beat well)

4 oz each (and I'm sure they mean dried)
1/4 lb pineapple
1/4 lb lemon peel
1/4 lb orange peel
1/4 lb citron
1 lb cheeries

1 1/2 lbs white raisins
3/4 bl pecans or walnuts chopped
1 teaspoon baking power
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups flour
1 Tablespoon vanilla
1 shot glass whiskey, rum or wine (you will likely need more than that but who am I to judge)

Directions:

So building these instructions required a bit of reading between the lines.

1) Oven at 275 - 300 and bake for 3 hours. Keep that in mind.
2) Grease angle food pan (or whatever) and line with wax paper
3) Take 1/2 cup to 3/4 cups flour to fruit (which I assume means mix the fruit with some flour before adding to cake dough)
4) let stand 5 minutes upside down, remove from pan til cool, store in tight container (that's for after it's baked)

So what about the rest of the ingredients. I would assume:
1) mix together the dry ingrediants.
2) add the beaten eggs
3) add the fruit and nuts
4) Bake at 300 for 3 hours
