1 pkg Betty Crocker yellow cake mix
1 pkg lemon instant pudding
5 eggs--one at a time--beating well
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup oil

Grease pan with oil. Bake 1 hr in 350 oven.

FYI, this recipe was created before some cake mix manufacturers started putting pudding mix in their packages. So watch for that. However, I remember this cake to be extremely moist and delicious.

She used this for birthday cake. She would cut into two layers, then spread with "good frosting" between layers and add fresh (or maybe frozen) strawberries between the layers. See "good frosting" recipe.

This was the go-to birthday cake for all my childhood.
