1 C Crisco not the buttery kind
1 C dark brown sugar, packed
3/4 C white sugar

Beat well together

1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

add to sugar mixture and beat
2 eggs
add to sugar mixture and beat
3 C dark chocolate chips (1 1/2 bags)

if you used extra large eggs add 2 1/3 C flour
if you used large or medium eggs add 2 1/4 C flour

Mix well

Drop by tablespoon onto cookie sheet lined with parchment paper

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cookies will look wet and fluffy until out of the over for a few minutes.
