3 c sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 c soft butter or margarine
1½ c sugar
2 eggs
1 c dairy sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Various sugars and sprinkles for toppings

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl beat butter, sugar and eggs at medium speed until light and fluffy. At low speed beat in sour cream and vanilla until smooth. Gradually beat in flour mixture until well combined. Refrigerate 1 hour. Drop batter by slightly rounded tablespoons 2” apart onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with toppings. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire rack to cool.
