Ingredients:  
1/2 pound of butter.
1 cup of sugar
3 ounces of water (also written as 3 Tablespoons of water)
3 Hersey bars plain.
1/2 cup of chopped pecans.
1/2 cup of ground pecans.
1 ounce of vanilla - also written as 1 Tablespoon of vanilla (2 recipes both from Granny's hand writing)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook butter, sugar, water and vanilla ten minutes. Or until carmel color.
Cook over high flame. Stiring constantly.
Add chopped nuts.
Sprinkle 1/2 ground nuts on bottom of pan.
Pour candy over the ground nuts in the pan. The candy is the carmel mix.
Place remainder of chocolate over the hot candy spread.
Sprinkle nuts over the chocolate.
Cut into squares while hot.

This was always a hit at Christmas and the Dentist loved it even more. Could pull a loose tooth out no problem. This recipe brings back the memories.
