¾ c. butter
1½ c. brown sugar
2 T. water
2 c. chocolate chips
2 eggs
2½ c. flour
1¼ t. baking soda
½ t. salt
12 oz. Andes Candies, unwrapped

Directions:
Directions:
In 2 qt. saucepan over low heat, cook butter, brown sugar and water until melted. Add chocolate chips and heat till partially melted. Remove from heat and stir until chocolate in completely melted. Pour into mixing bowl and let stand 10 minutes. With mixer at high speed, add eggs to the slightly cooled mixture. Reduce speed to low and add dry ingredients. Line cookie sheet with foil or parchment paper. Drop dough by 1/2 t. size onto foil. Bake at 350º 10 minutes. Remove from oven immediately. Place 1 mint on each cookie. After a few seconds swirl the mint with your finger. Remove to rack and cool. Makes 5-6 doz.
