4 sticks butter
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
Flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups coursely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla. Add one cup of flour and the salt. Continue to add flour until the dough comes away from the bowl. Add the cup of finely chopped pecans. Using parchment paper, spread out coursely chopped pecans. Shape dough into a log. Roll log into the pecans pressing them onto the roll. Chill dough log for a minimum of one hour . Cut cookie rounds into desired thickness (about 1/2 inch). Bake at 350 degrees until edges are lightly browned.
