3 oz. chocolate
3/4 cup sweet butter
1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs separated
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup flour

Filling
1 1/2 cups heavy cream
10 oz. semi sweet chocolate
1 tsp vanilla
2 Tbs rum

Glaze
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
7 oz. chocolate

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate. Cool. Cream butter and sugar. Add chocolate. Beat in yolks 1 at a time. Beate whites and 1/4 cup sugar. Pour into chocolate base and fold in flour. Put in jelly roll pan bake 350 º 15 minutes. Combine cream and chocolate over water and simmer till thick. Refrigerate. When cold add vanilla and rum, then whip. Cut cake in half and spread filling layer on top then refrigerate 1 hour. Glaze: heat sugar, water, and chocolate over heat. Cool 20 minutes, then set cake on top. Pour glaze over, then refrigerate 20 minutes longer. Then cut into squares.
