½ cup unsalted butter
2½ cups All-Purpose flour
1 T. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup + 2 T. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 475º

Sift together dry ingredients. Cut in butter using fingers until crumbly. Add buttermilk. Using hands, roll in to ball and place on floured surface. Press down slightly and cut using a 2 inch cutter. Place in greased pan. (I add 2 tsp. veg. oil and drag each biscuit through. This, of course is optional.) Bake for 15 minutes.
