Saltine crackers - with salt, box with sleeves of individual sleeves
1 cup butter (2 sticks) (NOT margarine)
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400ºF.
Line the cookie sheet with crackers, salt side up, in a single layer.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and butter. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 3 minutes.
Immediately pour the mixture over the saltines and spread to cover the crackers completely.
Bake for 5-6 minutes at 400.
Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Allow to sit for 5 minutes then spread to coat.
Sprinkle all or half with the chopped pecans.
Allow to cool, then put in the fridge or freezer for about 1 hour to harden then break apart into chunks.
