1 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup sifted confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup of finely chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans--you can also mix them together)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven at 400.

Mix butter, sugar, and vanilla together thoroughly. Stir in flour and salt together. Blend in nuts.

Chill dough.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls. place onto ungresed cookie sheet. Once again, I use parchment paper.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until set...but not brown.

While still warm, roll in sifted powdered (confectioners) sugar.

Cool and roll once again in powdered sugar.
