1 lb seeded raisins
1 lb golden raisins
1 lb currents
1/2 lb walnuts (chopped)
1 pkg chopped dates
1 12oz marishino cherries (chopped)
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup crisco. Or 1/2 oil
4 cups flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup dark molasses (put soda in molasses)
1/2 cup rum

Candied fruit can also be used.

Directions:
Directions:
Chop all fruit in small pieces. Dredge with 1/2 cup flour. Cream sugars,eggs crisco and molasses together. Add chopped fruit and flour to creamed mixture. Mix well (will probably need to use hands as mixture will be very dense). Add rum. Place in greased loaf pans.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean.

When cool wrap in foil. nice a week pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup rum or brandy over each caked. The longer they sit the better.
ales 5 mini loafs and 1 reg. Or 3 reg loafs. Keep in cool place.
