1 cup quick-cooking oats
1 cup sugar
1 stick salted butter, melted
3 tbsp flour
¼ tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt (optional)
½ tsp. vanilla
½ cup slivered almonds OR pecans (your choice)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix above ingredients by hand.

Foil-line cookie sheets (shiny side up) and grease them. With a tbsp., drop cookies onto sheet about 2 inches apart.

Bake at 350 degrees for 12 mins.

Cool 5 mins before removing from foil.
