Butter (the size of an egg)
2 cups flour salt - 1/2 tsp
Vanilla- 1 tsp
1/2 cup walnuts
2 tsp baking powder
1 small jar maraschino cherries
milk- see below for the amount

Put cherry juice into a one cup measuring cup, then fill with milk to the 1 cup mark. Mix flour, salt and baking powder. Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add to butter dry mixture and milk mixture alternately. Add cherries and nuts. Bake 375 for 40 min
