1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup oleo or butter
2 eggs
3 Tbsp sweet or sour cream
1/2 salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract
3 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Gradually add sugar to oleo creaming until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add rest of ingredients. Mix well. Chill dough thoroughly. Take out small amount of dough at a time. Roll thin on lightly floured board. Cut and sprinkle with sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 375 degree oven for 8 to 12 minutes or until golden. Makes 4 to 6 dozen.

Note: Use 1/2 of sugar to sprinkle cookies and 1/2 of flour for board.
