6 eggs
6 cups flour
1 tsp anise oil (scant)
1 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup crisco
6 tsp baking powder

* may substitute Lemon, orange, vanilla or flavor of choice for anise oil

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat pizzelle iron
Sift flour, baking powder and salt and set aside
Cream crisco and sugar together
Add 1 egg at a time
Beat well and add anise oil
Add flour mixture to egg mixture.

Roll dough into small balls and place in pizzelle iron according to iron directions.
