2 lb bag of Hurst Pinto Beans
1 tsp salt
1 package of Pork Jowl Bacon ( cut into 1 inch pieces) - optional
Water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Strain and rinse pinto beans.
2. Put pinto beans in a slow cooker
3. Put enough water in the slow cooker where the water is 3 inches over the pinto beans.
4. Add salt to the slow cooker.
5. Put the pieces of Pork Jowl in the slow cooker.
6. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 1 hour and turn down to low until the beans are throughly cooked.
