2 cups sugar
4 tablespoons cocoa
½ cup milk
1 stick margarine

½ cup peanut butter
3 cups oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

Mix in heavy pot. Bring to boil. Boil for 1 minute (1 ½ min. if doubled). Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, oatmeal and vanilla. Mix and drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper.

These are my favorite cookies. My grandmother made them for my mother all the time. One time on my birthday my mom could not make it to North Carolina for her birthday so my other grandmother
went to visit my grandmother Mary and on the way back she gave my mother the cookies.
