1 bag English Walnuts, ground
1 jar (32 oz) pineapple preserves (or any other kind)
5 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
12 1/2 cubes oleo
4 egg yolks
1/2 pint sour cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
** Make like pie dough
Mix together; flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, oleo.
Add; egg yolks, sour cream, vanilla.
Divide into 3 balls.
Roll out first ball and put on 18x12x1 cookie sheet. (Do not grease pan)
Spread half of preserves and 1/4 cup nuts.
Roll out second ball on top of above and spread second half of preserves and 1/4 cup nuts.
Roll out third ball and cover.
Paint top with canned milk and sprinkle with nuts.
Bake at 350º for half hour or until golden brown.
Let cool for 15 minutes.
Cut diagonally into diamond shape.
