"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
1 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
juice of 1 orange
12 eggs
3 Tbsp. baking powder
8 cups flour (approx.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream margarine, sugar, and orange juice. Beat in eggs, one at a time until well beaten and thougherly mixed. Add baking powder and 3 cups of flour to mixer, beat well. Continue adding flour
and mixing until dough reaches proper consistancy. Dough must be a little sticky, too much flour makes the cookies tough. If your mixer can not mix the entire amount of dough, turn it out onto a floured table and continue the mixing by hand adding flour as needed. Take a small amount of dough and roll it the size of a rope ,about 4 inches long. Shape into a knot and place on cookie sheet. bake at 300º for 10 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool and dip in various colored icing.
