Personal Notes:
A woman was eating lunch at Newman-Marcus and for dessert ordered the Newman-Marcus Cookie. She asked for the recipe and was told it was policy to not give it out. The customer asked if she could buy it. The waitress said it cost two fifty. The customer said to put it on her tab for lunch.
Her bill arrived in the mail the next month and it was for $285. Looking at the itemized section, she saw a $35 lunch and $250 recipe. Furious, she called and said she was returning the recipe. The store refused to credit the account stating that all the recipes were this expensive so that not just anyone could duplicate the recipes.
The woman replied, “you folks got my $250 and now I’m going to have $250 worth of fun”. I told her that I was going to see that all cookie lovers got the recipe for nothing. Here is your copy!
